What is PowerMama Training?
PowerMama is a Dutch-certified program designed by PowerMama Academy to support the unique needs of pregnant women and new mothers. The workouts are tailored with input from pelvic specialists, ensuring they’re safe and effective for those who are pregnant, have recently given birth, or are experiencing pregnancy-related issues like urinary leakage, diastasis recti, or pelvic pain.
In the Netherlands, I completed the recognized training for both YVLO Zwangerfit Docent® and PowerMama Levels 1 and 2. I hold an official PowerMama license, which requires biannual meetings to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. Before moving to Germany, I successfully led PowerMama groups for three years.

During the Pregnancy
PowerMama is the perfect solution for you! This program is designed with everyday activities in mind, making each class unique and introducing new exercises every week. Along with guided workouts, I’ll address all your questions—like which exercises are safe during pregnancy, what to avoid, and what to focus on during your training.

After the Pregnancy
In Germany, most women attend a “rebuild” class to help with initial recovery after giving birth. But what if you’re eager to return to, or start, a more intensive sport like running, horseback riding, CrossFit, triathlons, or something similar?
Even after completing a rebuild course, it’s important to ease back into your routine. What exercises are safe now, and which ones should you still avoid? For example, while it’s best to wait before jumping back into running, you can gradually rebuild your conditioning. But how should you go about it? When is the right time to return to your sport? These are the kinds of questions I’ll answer during our classes.
You’ll train at your own pace, so that you’ll be ready to resume your favorite sport or continue building your strength and endurance safely.
